taste short courses - calendar April - June 2008 (PDF: 1.9MB)
taste is designed to be the hub for hospitality professionals and with
this in mind taste will offer a variety of workshops to “upskill” industry
leaders with two to three hour sessions on a wide variety of topics
bought to you by industry experts.
Short workshops to date have been topics like Stephen Thompson who
presented ‘Menus that make Money’ and Lauraine Jacobs
who spoke on Mc-ing for Culinary Events With new course ideas being
put together all the time we will only see more and more valuable
workshops coming directly to our industry.
Our recent Telecom Seminar Series at Hospitality NZ has some fantastic
speakers and topics which we have filmed and put onto DVD as an industry
resource.
We will be filming each professional development workshop taste does,
creating a ‘library’ of resources you can then
purchase for utilisation in staff training etc… For a full
listing of DVD topics visit the DVD library.
taste also aims to bring you a variety of practical cooking demonstrations
and master classes for Executive Chefs along with their kitchen/restaurant
staff. Peter Gordon and his executive chef at ‘Dine by Peter
Gordon’ started these courses off with their sold out ‘Fusion’ inspired
master class.
To ensure that we continue to cater to the industry needs if you
feel there is a subject you would like to see presented or if you
would like to see a return of one the seminars below, please email
info@tastenz.co.nz.
